What a Muir Woods Education Means for your Child
We take into account the unique gifts and greatnesses of each learner and acknowledge that no two of them are exactly alike. While we adhere to the standards of learning set by governing bodies, we try to personalize our pedagogies and approaches to cater to the broad spectrum of personalities and abilities of the learners entrusted to our care.
PRESCHOOL
“Learning through play” is a concept the school sincerely believes in, especially for our preschool learners. The Preschool Program is designed to teach basic literacy, numeracy, and locomotor skills in a fun way to ensure they are ready for their grade school years.
GRADE SCHOOL
Helping children become excited about learning is the primary goal of the Elementary Department of the school. With only 25-30 students in a class, the school focuses on the quality of instruction to ensure that the students are well-guided during their academic formative years.
JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
While the school adopts the curriculum prescribed by the Department of Education (DepEd), it also aims to motivate them for greater intellectual, creative and aesthetic pursuits, more varied and challenging activities and assignments are provided in the different subject areas.
SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Our Senior High School Program offers all strands of the Academic Track — General Academic Strand (GAS), Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) Strand, Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) Strand), and the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Strand).

Muir Woods Academy (pronounced /MYOOR WOODS/) is a mid-sized private K-12 school located in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines. It was founded in 2005 and was formally known as Nueva Vizcaya Bright Child School, Inc.
